Mission
Lens of Light Photography is a nonprofit that provides free of charge portrait photography services to families of children with life-threatening and/or terminal illnesses. We are based out of the Greater Boston area, serving families in Eastern MA, Southern NH, and Northern RI. Our sessions focus on capturing the love and strength within each family, creating timeless memories to cherish forever.
About the Founder
Hi, I'm Marina, the founder and photographer behind Lens of Light. I am also the owner of Marina Nysten Photography, which focuses on portrait and print photography. In my full-time job, I work to develop medical devices and often visit the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units. This inspired me to serve these families in other ways.
I founded Lens of Light to provide families experiencing life-threatening/terminal childhood illnesses with everlasting memories. Lens of Light also aims to share family stories and raise awareness for childhood medical conditions. I look forward to meeting you!
